“Sharp Connection”
Sharp Connection, a design theme we applied to Motorola Solutions, a global leading provider of communication solutions. It aims to describe Motorola Solutions as a company that connects people by technology. A touch of strong character is applied in this office to bring out the professionality and corporate image.
We applied Industrial Modern as the concept design for Motorola Solutions. An open plan office with an open ceiling for the employee’s convenience. We used many design elements that are inspired by Motorola’s brand identity, as we applied an oblique wooden lattice shape that similar to the corporate logo, M.
The use of the hanging lamp in the Reception Area added more values to Motorola Solutions identity. Dark tones such as black, navy and grey bring out the industrial look and corporate colors, while the wooden element balances the “cold” impression in the office.
We added some local touches as we put the Batik Kawung accent on the sandblast and the view of Indonesian nature as the wallpaper in the Staff Area. Low partitions are applied to give privacy for each employee, but still maintaining the open plan concept.
To maximize the space, we built the meeting room with a movable partition to expand the room for adding more capacity.
We feel honored to be trusted by Motorola Solutions to design their new office. Hope it could provide a convenient workplace to support Motorola Solutions business in years to come.
